Bus Trips
Our club is all about adventure, camaraderie, and giving back! We regularly hit the road for exciting and adventurous day bus trips—whether it’s heading to St. Louis to savor a delicious lunch before being swept away by a dazzling performance at The Fabulous Fox Theatre, or traveling to Kansas City for a memorable meal paired with a spectacular show.
But these trips are more than just fun outings—they’re journeys with impact. Every ticket purchased, every laugh shared, and every curtain call applauded helps fuel our mission. The funds raised from these adventures allow us to keep children at the very center of our work in Boone County, while also empowering countless community agencies that provide vital services and support.
So when you join us, you’re not only enjoying a day filled with food, entertainment, and fellowship—you’re helping us make a lasting difference in the lives of kids and families right here at home.

Our history
Kid’s First Commitment
At Kid’s First, we are driven by a deep and unwavering commitment to putting children first in everything we do. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves opportunities to grow, play, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Throughout the years, our club has proudly partnered with a variety of local organizations that share this philosophy. Among them are Columbia Parks and Recreation Soccer, Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, Ronald McDonald House, and the Diamond Council. These partnerships reflect our ongoing dedication to creating positive experiences and lasting impacts for children and families across our community.
At Kid’s First, “kids first” isn’t just our name—it’s our guiding principle and heartfelt promise.
OUR NEXT BUS TRIP
Our next bus trip is Wednesday September 23, 2026, to the New Theatre and Restaurant in Overland Park, KS . We will enjoy the comedy The Hallelujah Girls, starring Richard Karn of Home Improvement. The Hallelujah Girls follows a circle of friends who to an abandoned church into a day span and rediscover their strength and joy that comes with laughter, Along the way, one of the gals rekindles the heat of an old flame with the guy who's installing the hot tub
The New Theatre is ranked as one of the best dinner theaters in the country.
Cost is $145 (includes transportation, lunch, dessert, all taxes and gratuities)
